Rene Lalique "Rampillon" Vase No. 991 Frosted Grey Glass c.1927
An original René Lalique "Rampillon" vase, Model No. 991, designed in 1927. One of Lalique's most elegant floral designs, the vase features alternating faceted lobes separated by finely moulded sprays of flowers and foliage, creating a beautiful interplay of satin frosted and polished surfaces. The sculptural form and crisp moulding are hallmarks of René Lalique's celebrated Art Deco production.
This example is executed in frosted grey glass with polished highlights, enhancing the depth and brilliance of the design. Signed "R. Lalique France" acid-etched to the underside.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs however are small minor burst air bubbles. Light wear to the underside from age and cabinet display. The moulding remains crisp with excellent original satin finish.
Provenance From an important single owner collection of René Lalique glass. Part of Harrington & Co's "Once in a Lifetime René Lalique Collection of 97 pieces".
